Parents and Students PLEASE READ
We will be moving to a Distance Learning Model starting March 30th Distance Learning is defined as regular and sustained interactive teaching and learning between teachers and students, remotely.  Many of the same high quality resources found on the K12 Interactive Learning Site will continue to be used for practice, in conjunction with Google Classroom. Please continue to use and access this page while teachers get fully set up to deliver instruction in a whole new way.  This will be a shift for all involved - parents, students, teachers and administrators. To make all of this work, it is critical that parents have up to date information in the Parent Portal and that students retrieve their Danbury Gmail and Passwords and get connected to teachers by the end of this week and through next week. Laptops, if needed, must be requested through the school immediately as building access and staff access is rapidly changing.  Those needing internet access can CLICK HERE for information. We will no longer mass produce paper packets. We will update parents, staff, and students as we have more information.   See how to access the PowerSchool Portal below.    CLICK HERE TO ACCESS TRAINING IN ENGLISH, SPANISH & PORTUGUESE: https://sites.google.com/danbury.k12.ct.us/helpsitefordistancelearning/home/powerschool

As of March 30th your participation and completion of school work will be counted for grades.  If a teacher has their Google Classroom already set up they may start on 3/25. It is important that you are engaging in the district distance learning plan.
Last week, we distributed over 200 Chromebooks to students in need.  Several internet providers and now giving free internet to students during this time.  If possible please go to the DHS.danbury.k12.ct.us website to fill out a form. If you can not please come to DHS anyway! We will get you a chromebook.
