Danny Holt was a 2005 Danbury High School graduate.  As a senior, he was captain of the football team.  Danny worked as a student aid at the YMCA in Brookfield.  He loved working with children and volunteered as a coach for Pop Warner football, flag football and the New Hope Baptist Church.  Danny was an avid Mets and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Steelers great Jerome Bettis, is known as "The Bus", and Danny's nickname was "Baby Bus" because both were hard to stop.  Sadly, Danny passed away June 23, 2010 at the age of 23.  In June 2013 the New Hope Baptist Church dedicated a special bench in Danny's memory at their new playground.  Cedric Rice, who helped managed the New Hope Baptist Church expansion said of Danny, "We lost someone so dear to us, who spent much of his life working with the youth of our community.  The Baby Bus has left us."
