Lisa graduated in 1987 and achieved just about every honor conceivable as a three sport star. Her three sports were basketball, soccer and softball. In basketball she was selected All-State for two years by the Hartford Courant and New Haven Register in addition to the All-FCIAC team for three years. The New York Daily News honored her as their All-State selection for two years as well as their Player of the Year. She was the CIAC Championship Game MVP in 1987 as well as the Captain of the team. Add this to her MSG Network High School Sports Spotlight Award Recipient in 1987 to cap off her career. In soccer she was All-FCIAC three years, All-State one year and All-Area three years. She was also captain in 1987. In softball she was All-FCIAC for three years, All-State one year and All-Area three years as well as being the team's captain. In 1987 she was selected DHS Female Athlete of the Year. Following high school she attended Fairfield University where she earned a BA in Sociology in 1991. While there her honors continued as a four year starter on the basketball team. She was the MAAC Rookie of the Year in 1988 and earned All MAAC honors for three years. In her senior year she was selected to the All American 2nd team. She is the career assists and steals leader as well as the 2nd all time leading scorer. She was inducted into the Fairfield University Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Connecticut Hall of Fame. Following graduation she has held various coaching positions at Canisius College, Boston University, Fairleigh Dickenson University and WestConn.
