Kesha Jones
(Basketball, 1992)

One of the stars of the Danbury High School Girls' Basketball team in the 1990's was 1992 grad Kesha Jones. Kesha was an All FCIAC Volleyball player in 1991 and 1992 but it was in basketball where she really made her mark. She was a News-Times All Area and All FCIAC selection as a junior and she repeated the dual feat as a senior as well as being an Honorable Mention All Stater. As a senior she averaged 15 points a game and eight rebounds. Upon graduation Kesha attended Delaware State University on a four year scholarship to play basketball and she also played volleyball as a freshman. In 1996 Kesha received a degree in Social Work and then a Master's Degree from Howard University two years later, also in Social Work. Since then she has worked for Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency in Washington D.C. as a Community Supervision Officer and later as an investigator for the same agency.
