This 1953 graduate was the leading scorer during his three years on the basketball team. He was the captain his senior year. In addition to his basketball prowness he lettered in football for three years and was All-State Honorable Mention in 1952. Following high school he attended WestConn and scored over 1500 points during his 4 years on the basketball team. At one time he held the school scoring record there. He was inducted in the WestConn Hall of Fame in 2001. He has officiated basketball and football for over 20 years and has 12 years of lacrosse officiating. The Sportsmanship Award is named after him in the SouthWest Conference.
