One of the stars of Jackie DiNardo's basketball teams of the 1990's was 1998 graduate Jenn Curran. Jenn was a four year varsity starter for the Lady Hatters and a two year captain. She amassed 1,158 points in her career which is second in school history. Her honors included being named to the Danbury News-Times All Area team her sophomore, junior and senior years, all FCIAC her senior year as well as All Connecticut Post. After graduation from DHS Jenn attended Brandeis University and had a stellar career there as well. She was a four year varsity starter, a two year captain and received the Max I. Silber Award as Brandeis's outstanding female athlete in 2002. Additionally she was a two time team MVP and finished her career with 1,048 points which was 4th on the all time scoring list at that time, she was 6th in career assists and first in 3 point goals made. After her 2002 graduation from Brandeis Jenn entered the coaching ranks and coached at the University of New Haven and Sacred Heart University.
