News & Information

Attention Danbury students, staff and community:

You are invited to participate in a survey on the Vision and Mission of Danbury High School. I, Angelo Marrero (Social Studies teacher), was fortunate to lead a committee that worked diligently on various vision and mission statements for Danbury High School. It has been over ten years since we last changed our vision and mission statement. With our district currently on the same journey to promote equity, the timing was perfect for DHS to follow suit. This is a way for DHS to focus on what’s really important on a day to day basis. In the end, we want to develop a view of our school as being bound together with a common purpose. Your participation in this survey is voluntary, but vital. It is imperative that we get the ideas and opinions of everyone in the Danbury community. This is a great opportunity to have a say in what we do around Danbury High School and what we want our students to become when graduating from DHS.

Students, your participation is crucial because you are the ones going through this educational process at DHS so you know exactly what you do everyday and what you want to become before graduating based on the functionality of our school. Families, your participation is important because we need your input. You are the ones around your children and members of the community outside of an educational setting. Again, this is your chance to get involved with the process of your child’s education as they work towards graduating from DHS.  Thank you for your participation!
